Designing wet labs for Medical Device Development poses particular challenges, and in many cases, contributes to the validation and registration process for the medical device. Kelsey Birkett-Bennett will describe those challenges and solutions to them, geared specifically to engineers and entrepreneurs.

Kelsey Birkett-Benett is a member of the American Institute of Architects, National Association of Women in Construction and the National Fire Protection Association. At HOK, she plans and designs teaching labs, high-tech facilities, and wet labs for medical device development. Prior to HOK, Kelsey spent 15 years at Amgen designing high-tech laboratories.
